Dr. Gary DuDell received two awards in July 2010 through the Innovative Teaching Opportunities (iTOPP) grant program from the Center for 21st Century Teaching Excellence at the University of South Florida. The awards will support two projects entitled “The Field Placement Experience: An overview for On-Site Supervisors,” and “Conversations with Mind/Body Practitioners II”. The projects are Dr. DuDell’s vision of innovation, technology, and academics.
Dr. Ryan Henry received an award in May 2010 through the Innovative Teaching Opportunities with iPad Program from the Center for 21st Century Teaching Excellence at the University of South Florida. The award was granted in an effort to better understand and explore the use of iPads to enhance teaching and learning (with an emphasis on online learning).
Dr. Susan Kelley received notification that her proposal for the American Epilepsy Society Conference in San Antonia in early December has been accepted – it concerns “Outcomes of Trauma-Induced Psychogenic Nonepileptic Attacks Treated with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing”.
