Norton, Aaron, LMHC, CAP, CRC
Founder of Integrity Counseling & Coaching, Inc., Mr. Norton brings his experience as a private practitioner, a vocational rehabilitation supervisor for the Florida Department of Education, and in Operation PAR Therapuetic Communities to his classes as adjunct faculty in the Department of Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling.
Mr. Norton is active in local and state professional organizations. He is the President of the Suncoast Mental Health Counselors Association (2014-2015) amd is Chair of the Educational, Training Standards, & Continuing Education Committee for the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association. A regular presenter at professional conferences, Mr. Norton is equally active as a speaker at provider agencies across the state.
Mr. Nortonhas been recognized by the Florida Department of Education, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation with its Sapphire Award and the Area 4 “Innovator Award”. He has also been recognized by Operation PAR, Inc. with its Golden Eagle Award.
Mr. Norton holds licenses and certification at the state, national, and international levels. At the state level he is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Addictions Professional, and a Substance Abuse Professional. He is also certified nationally by the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor , and by the National Board of Forensic Evaluators as a Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator. He is also certified by the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium/Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse, Inc., as an Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
