Innovative VR Tools Presented at the National Council on Rehabilitation Education
Dr. Tammy Jorgensen-Smith presented two posters on innovative VR tools at the anual meeting of the National Council on Rehabilitation Education. The first poster introduced Managing Individualized Needs for Employment (MINE). The purpose of the MINE project is to increase customized employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities through the development of a self-directed, customized employment curriculum and a technical assistance support system.
The second poster, Student Website on Employment and Transition (SWET), discusses the development and updating of an interactive website addressing customized employment and transition for students, families, school personnel and the adult service system.
